CHATSWORTH, CA / ACCESSWIRE / November 29, 2017 / Cavitation Technologies, Inc. (CTi) (OTCQB: CVAT) (BERLIN: WTC), received a purchase order from Desmet Ballestra Group, CTi's strategic partner and licensee of the company's vegetable oil refining technology since 2010.

CTi's Nano Reactor™ is to be installed at a new vegetable oil refinery with daily capacity of 900 metric tonnes per day (MTPD) and represents the first purchase order the company received in China. The system shipment is expected to be completed in the company's fiscal 2nd Quarter 2018.

China represents one of the most significant markets for CTi. With annual production of vegetable oil approaching 200 million metric tonnes and China's focus on reducing chemical usage, the CTi nano reactor system is well positioned to gain market share and we expect this to be the first of many future orders.

Cavitation Technologies, Inc. Global Technology Manager Roman Gordon commented, "This is really exciting for our company to have received our first purchase order from China. It signifies an important milestone for our company with systems installed in Japan, Korea, India, Thailand and now in China. Our company's innovative technology depicts a strong demand by providing reduction on chemical usage and improved yield, while operating in an environmentally friendly manner."
