In October Barfresh announced it had entered into an agreement with a national casino chain to conduct a trial of its products at one of the casino's premier locations in the U.S. This trial is taking place and providing product in multiple locations within the casino property such as the casino's bars, buffets, employee dining and foodservice outlets. "With approximately 50 properties in this casino chain we believe this could result in our product being carried in hundreds of locations throughout the chain," said Riccardo Delle Coste, Chief Executive Officer of Barfresh. Mr. Delle Coste added that the approval of the flavors, a total of four, was the first major step in the implementation of this program, and that the company is actually running a bit ahead of its planned timeframe at this location.
The importance of this initial trial is significant in that there is the potential for the product to be served in 5 to 10 different service areas at one casino location. This can include breakfast buffets, food outlets, employee dining areas, bars, hotel room service, catering and other areas. "The potential for a rapid revenue ramp up is significant as additional casino locations throughout the chain are added," said Mr. Delle Coste.
